Studio
Twelve people, two cities, one grading suite. We stay small on purpose, so the people who pitch your film are the people who make it.

01 — How we work
01
Small crews, senior hands
Most of our shoots run with fewer than twelve people. Everyone on set has done the job for years.
02
Access before angles
On documentaries we spend more time earning trust than setting up shots. The pictures follow.
03
Finish under one roof
Edit, colour and mix happen down the hall from the producer who sold you the idea.
02 — Call sheet
The crew

Inês Valente
Last on: The Long Count
Founder · Director
Started Offspeed in 2014 after a decade cutting news. Directs most of our documentary work and still edits her own assemblies.

Theo Marsh
Last on: Redline
Director of Photography
Shoots anamorphic whenever he is allowed. Twelve years behind the camera across commercials, docs and two features.

Rui Calado
Last on: Night Freight
Executive Producer
Runs budgets, permits and the phone. Former line producer for broadcast drama; very calm in a crisis.

Lea Fontaine
Last on: Salt Road
Head of Production
Plans every shoot down to the call sheet and has never lost a hard drive. Leads our documentary access work.

Maya Okafor
Last on: Red Room
Editor · Director
Edits everything that leaves the building and directs our music videos. Believes most films are two minutes too long.

Jonas Brand
Last on: Open Flame
Colourist
Grades in a calibrated Resolve suite in Marvila. Builds a show LUT on day one so the shoot and the grade agree.
